Default Coolant reservoir bleed screw:

Anyone know if the coolant tank bleed screw has a gasket in it or not? Mine is seeping out no matter how tight I screw it in.

Not sure if there's a gasket or some seal, but from my experience with it, tightening it makes it leak worse.

When I bled mine, I only opened it a quarter turn, then just snugged it closed, and it stopped leaking.

I'd say try opening it up again, then just snug it closed , see if it stops.

Hope its not ruined!

I saw the same question in another (similar) post - there is an o ring.. The part is plastic, so if you over tightened it the o ring is compromised or the plastic threads.

Either way, sounds like the expansion tank will need to be replaced..
