Cracked Airbag Cover
My 2005 4.2 Sport has a crack in the passenger airbag cover. Is there a product out there to fill in the crack? Would that be a good fix? Here is a picture of the hairline crack. I believe it is just the finish cracked.
If it is just a scratch in the finish then you could try one of those lacquer pens to hide scratches on car body paintwork.
Failing that, take it off, rub it down with fine wet and dry and then refinish it.

No. Take it off and send it to Madera for refinishing. It is very thin and odds are you will screw it up and then it will look terrible.

A company in California that specializes in mostly high end vehicle dash refinishing. I agree with tbird, I do more than dabble in woodwork especially finishing, I would not attempt to repair our dash boards. Take it for what its worth. Here is a link for them:
