Cylinder Numbers

Hi all,

I have a 2000 S Type 4.0 and today, on the way home from work, I had a misfire and engine management light came on. I read the codes and got P0305. This is a misfire on cylinder 5. To test the coil I'm going to swap it with another one on the car and see if the error moves.

My question is, which is cylinder 5?

Thanks Norri,

Now I'm confused. My 2000 4.0 's cylinder 5 could either be third one back on the left as I look at the engine, or the front one on the right. Lol.
