Is Dashboard in Jaguar S type 1999model real leather or vinyl.
I want to know if I have to treat it with leather cleaner or as vinyl interior.

In the series 1 cars at least, only the seats, gear lever surround on manuals and the steering wheel are leather. The dash top is synthetic as are the door trims iirc.

 

Is that right? It's a damn good match then. It looks like real Cow

Fur sure! I'm going to stop wasting leather wax on my dash & doorcards!

 

The armrest on the door card is leather, though.

 

Are you sure? Mine (Series 1.5 car, MY2001, build Sept 2000) looks very much like plastic with a bit of stitching. It does not seem to soak in any leather conditioner, etc. and has not aged like leather.

 

I am not sure. If it is imitation it is damn good.
