Hey '05 STR, I had to remove more then the glove box door. You will have to also remove the glove box frame (4 torx screws) in order to get access. The DCCM is located on the top, above the frame of the glove box. Fairly easy to stop once that frame is out of the way.

Yes. It's the RCCM - Remote Climate Control Module. Used on cars with NAV.
CCM - Climate Control Module. Used on non-NAV cars.

Had the mechanic look over the car today, looks like the DCCV is working properly. Back to the circuit guy for a second go at the module.

Thanks for that Norri. I will have a second go and hope he can fix it. Can't imagine what a new one would cost. I can't even find one on ebay.

So a positive update to this issue. I left the CCM with a guy that specifically fixes circuit boards in dashes, Speedo's climate controls etc. After playing with it for about a week he determined that when the DCCV went, not only did it fry the connectors on the board, it actually burned out two of the chips on there. Once the chips where replaced the climate control is now finally back to normal.
