Dead spot
Ok, this may be a stupid question but......
when I accelerate from about 15 mph WOT, when i get to around 40 I hit a dead spot where acceleration stops and I get orange flashing lights on speedo, then i get to about 55 and deadeneds out again , orange lights and then catches. Now I didn't look at the speedo out of fear of crashing but would that be wheel spin im experiencing (loss of traction) Left rear tire has different pattern tread than right rear and right rear is terrible 20 % tread and left is great 85% tread. I'm just hoping it's not a fuel delivery prob (fuel filter etc) or supercharger problem.
Thanks GUYS.
Oh and ps I saw a red light flash when my rpms were very high , must of been redlined and that was an overrev warning??

No problem except for rear tires are too worn for the DSC to ignore. You're slipping a tire, setting off the DSC. Learned this from my own experience. Worse on wet pavement. New tires. I recently had a worn rear tire. usedtires.com sent me a very nice tire for $35 (compared to $350 new). Couldn't believe how unused it was. It had suffered a puncture and was properly patched from the inside.
so the dsc comes on in sport mode to? I didn't think traction control came on. Or is it telling me with the orange light that my **** is slip;p;ing bad. Or is it engaging brake and doing computer stuff DSC stuff
Exactly. The worn tire will slip, setting off DSC wether DSC is set to the off position and in SPORT mode. DSC lurks in the background even when its been set in the off position. DSC is active in both normal and sport trans. positions.
