Default Delay in shifting when going in reverse and into drive... normal??

I notice that when I put the levler in reverse it takes a second for it tp pop into reverse almost like theres a second delay... the same with putting it back into drive. You dont feel it pop into drive until about a second or so. If you press the gas to quick when putting it into drive you will peel out. Anyone know what this is??

daboss, with all your recent posts, have you posted up any codes?

I believe that you are experiencing problems but they may be related. I mean this post and "replacing brake booster" post, points to a possible vacuum leak.

And you REALLY need to add your vehicle details to your signature! Easy to do, go to "UserCP" upper left corner on any site page, click "Edit Signature" click "Save"

**POOF** Done and no one has to guess what the heck you are trying to repair.

Fuel trims may reveal an air leak.
