Which diagnostic tool is best to use for Jaguar STR ?

 

Best? Most complex? Cheapest? Easiest yet almost complete coverage?

For reading codes and live data, i use the icarsoft i930, jaguar specific....for that and programming modules and more in depth diagnostics, sdd ids running on a laptop,.,.version 125, 130 or 131 seem to work best on our s types to me

 

I use an iCarsoft i930 (Jaguar specific) on my XF S diesel & my STR. It works quite well.

 

For something to view via your smartphone, i believe elm327 coupled with torque pro app has been used successfully by members....i have no experience with the phone apps, but trust other members posted results

 

the existing threads are not new, and with computer diagnostic things change and go really fast.
i wanted to ask about 2019 tools.
the price I’m looking for till 500-800usd, maybe less, I don’t know if the price is the matter of quality on those things. That’s why I ask which could be better quality/price tool to buy.
