AHA,

Aftermarket are scary at best, especially if you dont teh variations THEY refer to, and they DO NOT give that information simply.

Down here I now work in the aftermarket spare parts, and as an example.

A simple Toyota Camry 4 cyl water pump has 3 part numbers. Same supplier, same reference book. The difference being ONE comes WITH the studs, ONE comes without the o/ring, and ONE comes WITH the studs AND o/ring. Obviously we keep the latter, and the consumer can discard whatever is not required for their vehicle.

The ACTUAL water pump in all 3 boxes is EXACTLY the same. Maybe this is the case here, but as I said, info like that is only from experience, and/or hands on dealing. Makes it VERY difficult for the average "Joe" just trying to fix his car.

If in doubt use your engine number as teh change point.

Like Rick said, I see no variations in MY parts listing. The Jag part number for 2000-2002 in my listing is C2S026232, and it is supplied WITH the outlet hose?. For 2003-2005 also 3ltr it is AJ8004817, but no pretty picture to show what is in that box.

UM, that was clever, posted twice, sorry for that.

If someone more clever than me can delete one of them that would be nice.

Thanks.
