hey guys, for those of you that live in south florida and know of "The Jag" Doctor over in Boca Raton, the guys name is Terry and has been working on Jag's all his life. I asked him today how much a Differential service would be and he said about $150 but he does not recommend doing it and it is unnecessary. He told me it can open a can of worms. Just wondering on everyones opinion on that. I own a 2002 S-type v6 3.0 sport with 94k on the clock.

 

People commonly suck out what they can and re-top up. No problems.

I changed my STR rear diff fluid at 75K miles. He is right that it's probably OK to ignore it but I fully service my cars.
