What are the different sizes on an '03 S-type R? I just bought some EBC discs online, and based on their website (and others) the ones that fit are 11.3" on the rear. Received them today and they are at least an inch too small compared to what's already on the car.

On a side note, I bought EBC redstuff pads and was unsure how good they'd be. I was glad to read that many of you have been using them as well.

I called the local jag part store and even if I give them the VIN they can't look up the size of what's on the car. I did measure them myself and found they were around 12.6", give or take a tenth. But everywhere I look says the rear discs are 11.3, so I'm a little confused.

 

Ok, I found a website they may finally give correct numbers apart from everywhere else.

2003 S-Type R
Front: 14.0 x 1.3
Rear: 12.8 x 0.6

I called http://brakeperformance.com from a recommendation I read in another thread, and gave my VIN to the guy and he's suppose to call me back. He seemed to know right away there are different possible sizes so we'll see what he has to say.


brakeperformance called back and confirmed the 12.8" (326mm). I guess I've answered my own question. As soon as my old ones get returned/refunded, I'll be buying the performance dimpled/slotted from them. Their quoted price was $362 for two discs, free semi-metallic pads, and free shipping. With a lifetime warranty this is an awesome deal.

 

From the JTIS jaguar spec, for an 04 StypeR (I think the 03 has an identical brembo system)

front is 365mm dia (14.6"), 32mm thick (1.28")

rear is 330 mm (13.2"), 20 mm thick (0.8")

I believe the later type R without the brembo has smaller rotors on the front and back.
