Does H&R Sport springs need different alignment specs?
I know Riski and some others here know the answer to this question but it may serve others if they choose to lower their "S". I had new stock (CAT) front struts installed along with H&R Sport Springs. I used the alignment specs pulled off this forum for what I believe was a stock suspension STR. Though I'll soon replace the rears struts The difference in cornering and handling is phenomenal. The ride quality is slightly stiffer and you'll feel just a hint of bumps but overall very comfortable...all worth it.

Use the updated factory specs which reduce the front toe-in to zero if my memory isn't failing me...
I have put 16k on my STR since lowering on the same set of tires. The first two things ya need to do with an STR is lower it and change out the brake pads to ceramics. All the other upgrades should come after. Personally, the only other thing I have done is change out the air filter to a K&N drop-in.
The car runs like a clock. Dead reliable given I only drive it half the year when the sun shines. It also doesn't hurt to give it some stick on a daily basis without abusing the drivetrain.

I thought it changed from about zero (or even a bit of toe out *) to about 1.5-2mm toe-in. Can't go wrong following Brutal's comments in that long-running alignment thread
* surely not! what could they have been "thinking"!?

Stay the same. Its not that the specs change lowering. Its that the car before settings change with a ride height change. And yes make double sure the correct specs are used. Cause no one like ntb firstone pepboys etc will have the corrected specs for 03 and up stypes. Jaguar changed them back in 03-04. But yet when we get new software updates from hunter that makes most of the alignment equipment used. Its still go old specs and i have to manually enter them and save them. And i still to this day(yesturday actually) have customers that insist on not getting an aligment here and he went to pepboys on his 05. Well his new tires are cupping again in front so i recommended an alignment again. His reply "i just had pepboys do it when i got new tire" um i know i told you about this last time you were here when you needed tires and now your wearing out the insides again....some people just dont learn
ALSO MAKE SURE DEFLECTION IS CHECKED ON FRONT SUSPENSION WHEN SETTING FRONT TOE AKA MERCEDES PRESSOR BAR ALIGNMENT
