Does white wire from (TACM) go directly to PCM?
re: 2001 Jaguar S type 3.0 v6
re: throttle body control wiring
Does anyone know if white wire outbound from Throttle Actuator Control Module (TACM) routes directly to PCM or ??
Does white wire travel to another system before arriving at PCM harness plug2?
Believe my problem is in white "W" (Actual Throttle Angle) input to PCM.
White wire gave an odd positive reading .. neither 1 nor 0
All wires tested good for continuity, except white wire.
"W" white wire seems to run from throttle body plug (PL44) directly to Harness plug (PL2 located on right firewall) onward to PCM
Tested continuity on all wires between TACM plug (PL44) and Harness plug (PL2) en route to PCM.
All wires tested good for continuity, except white wire.

I think you mean PI not PL (so PI44, PI2, etc).
I think the white (W) wire you mean is PI44-9 to PI1-25 and the elec guide shows it's 0-20mA.
I don't see any splices etc so if continuity looks suspect maybe disconnect it and run a separate wire as a check. If it fixes it you've found a fault.

Thanks JagV8..
your thoughts are same as mine ... based on the Jaguar 2001 model Electric info
White wire seems complete, no breaks or damage that I can see.
I hate to cut the wire .. but cutting white wire and running direct signal through an amp meter is only way to tell.
However, this white wire is bundled with 30 other wires on backside of engine block, so I am looking for an experienced tech to confirm that this white wire does indeed go directly to Pi-2 from TACM plug.
Thanks for your help.

Complete electrical schematics can be found below. They're highly detailed and have helped me immeasurably in the past.
