Hopefully some one can help me with this question
I have a 2004 4.2 v8 s type
The drivers side rear passengers door lock actuator is not working
I have found one from a 2002 4.2 v8
Would any one be able to tell me if this would be the same

Looking at Barratt's parts catalog for the S-type, there aren't many superseded, or VIN range limited parts listed; so, it would seem that the older part has a good chance of fitting your later production car. Hopefully someone can answer more definitively...

 

It looks like that all 2002.5 onwards models have the same unit:

With deadlock: XR853055
Without deadlock: XR853056

I'm not sure which models had which though. The German ones all got deadlocks as standard, I think.
