Default Dreaded code 17

Ok. Annoyed! this is what I get for taking a risk on a 05 STR. (Bought it not running suddenly for $1000.00 and stuck two bolts in the shift cable and boom! Running!). Anyone that is using Jaguar SDD, How can I get the airbag PIDs from SDD to figure out what has failed? All I can get is code 17 and c2291! The chart shows 6 different possibilities! It’s driving me up a wall!

appreciate the help!

SRS DTCs are B (body) codes.
Chassis DTCs are C codes.

B2291 = Advanced restraint system
C2291 = Air Suspension ASM calibration failure

I had an airbag fault code 17 and everyone said it was the switch under the passenger seat. It ended up being the microphone for sensing the passengers seating position located just behind the sun roof. It had damaged wiring. Went to pick a part popped in the used one that cost whatever the entry fee is and code is gone now

Default Solved it with an iPhone!

Turned the key on not started, put phone to record video. Moved lens by each sensor. Stopped video and shut car off. Played back video. Video wil pop a bunch of times if the sensor is active. Got to the one in the center of headliner and nothing. Felt up there, wires are cut! Guess it is coming down now!
