Default driver side vent removal? S type???

daft and silly question... but how on earth do you remove the drivers side vent on a 2000 s type jaguar?

I dont want to damage anything.. so please can someone offer this silly advice.

I cant find out how its held in place and dont want to pry and or rip it out ... its driving me crazy as its rattling like duck!

thanks.

Go in there with a pick (buy a set of them with different heads) they will come in handy and a strong flashlight - there are 4 tabs I believe - 2 on the bottom and 2 on the top - one set has to be pushed in and the other set needs to be pulled out - Good Luck - it's a Royal PIA from what I've heard...

Thank you for that reply.... yep.. seen photos after some searching on the forum.

it looks like a pain... but since I dont give a monkeys about the old one... I might just cut away some of the innards.... and then worry about the outter shell.

this should make it less painfull.. then replacing it with the new one will be fun... hopefully much easier.

thank you again!
