Well, it cost $600 total. I will post the contact info of the place that fixed it if I get it running. The Jaguar tech is off next week so it will be the week after that before I know for sure.

You could also check your friendly local Mazda dealer----3.0l Mazda 6 is essentially the same.

Thanks, it's good to know the Mazda 6 has the same motor. The Lincoln LS has as well but I think in this case it's Jaguar proprietary software that I need.
