2000-2002 S-Types were pretty bad for having IPK failure.
Not going to be much you can do about it.
You may want to pull the pack out and check the connections are good. But I hate to say it, your pack it probably going bad.
The worst part is, it is not a plug and play item. You will have to get it programmed if you replace it. Key codes go through the IPK so it will not start until programmed.
