i am going to do the install tonight, ill try and take pics as much as possible. I will then upload them and link them back to here.

I already removed the other one, and after taking a look at it, it is as simple as changing the brake cables on a pedal bike. And unbolting it from the vehicle.

Quite simple in fact. Laying under there and getting the motor out in one piece is the hard part. lol

We'll see tonight how bad it is to put the motor back in.

I have a 6000 lb lift in my garage so getting to the motor will be the EZ part for me..........figuring out how to get it put back together with no instructions will be the hard part so your write up and pics will help tremendously!

Ok so in the one pic, you can see where the 2 10mm bolts are that hold the EPB in, well after looking at it, there is no way to completely put the new unit in without removing the three silver bolts and dropping the rear pumpkin down about 4 inches. Remove the 2 18mm one in the same area as the 10mm ones, and remove the 16mm from the front of the pumpkin assembly. It is heavy but movable by hand. I used a floorjack to hold it and then let it down till it stopped, once it bottomed out and didnt move, it was then i slid the whole motor up inside and attached the 10mm. Then do the cables, make sure everything is clear, and then i plugged it in. Once this was all done i lifted the pumpkin back into place, do the 18mm bolts first and snug them up, then install the 16mm. once these are all lined up then go back and tighten them.

It really was pretty painless of an install, and i really couldnt get any good pictures of the install as it is in an area that isnt very good for taking pictures.

Thanks for the write up. Sounds like it isn't too bad. Maybe I'll be able to get some more pics when my car is up on my lift while I attempt to do mine.

Thanks!

Hello

леканд€ €‚амŒев

My spell check is having serious issues with that ^

I'm not sure if any of these internal parts are..or were ever available to rebuild the electric parking brake system.

it is a pity that this is impossible, I have broken only this magnet which is the hall sensor, everything else works

Car makers buy such things whole and will not have the part numbers of the internals, but you can get such parts elsewhere.

No-one here is likely to have any idea of the part number, however.
