Hi guys
well installed the replacement ecm after having it reprogrammed on the 2003 str
well f mee no communication with engine control module
So re tested can bus using Breakout box pins 6 &14 60ohm
also Tested with ecm disconnected and got 119 ohm
Tested pins 16 & 5 got 12.7 volts
Tested pins 16 & 4 got 0 volts
Battery is good
when I Tested a couple of months ago
I thought everything was good
When un lock car put ignition to Position 2 the pats blinks once only
So now wondering if there is a ground problem
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Electrical Guide, fig 20.1 shows both pins 4 & 5 connected to ground.
Maybe examine your DLC (OBD) connector in case a bent pin, or some such, and if not that then trace pin 4 to see where it goes (or doesn't).
Thanks but did check diagnostic plug after removing it from cradle
they all good
Had a quick check at connector plug for ecm started testing pins
on Electrical description and characteristic diagram
It says pin p11 -4 power 1 ground but on connector plug it is blank pulled the back off to cheek behind plug and no hole 4 wire
also says pin 22 nw permanent power supply
But only 12 v when key on
not sure if I'm looking at right wiring diagrams
