I have a 2000 stype 3.0 and all of the sudden the engine wont start. I hear the whirring of the gears and it tries to start but inevitably fails.
I replaced the fuel filter, that wasn't the problem.

What's really strange is I drove it this morning to the office from home 15 miles away, turned it off and went inside for about ten minutes, and when I came back out it wouldn't start.

It isn't parked on a major slope or anything, just a few degrees, and I can feel the engine almost starting.
the first few times I tried starting it it actually started but then died immediatly.
Does anyone have any advice for me?

I think the problem may possibly be with the fuel pump, but honestly I'm not sure how to get to it or check it.

 

Your no start could be caused by many things and to find could be time consuming. I put together a procedure that should help; however, I would be looking at the fuel pump first.
