I am wanting to install a factory CD player in my 2001 S and the owner's manual directs me to the glove box. I know the factory put them in both the glove box and the trunk. The trunk has a connection and cable; where would be the easiest location to install a factory unit bought off E-bay for this car?
BTW - this is my first Jag, I have always driven BMW's and Mercedes. The styling, interior and fit an finish of this car is second to none. I have had more comments, looks and head nods than in any other car I have ever owned. You guys are really on to something!

 

If you plan to install one in the trunk I have a factory mounting bracket.

 

i think if you are goin to use your glove box put it in the trunk
