fail safe engine stall

Default fail safe engine stall
My 2000 jaguar s type with v8 at 2500 rpm throws a fail safe light then stalls and is restartable..This condition happens under hard acceleration and runs well other wise .. any clues

Lots of possibilities. Either read a lot (a LOT) of old threads here and be good at DIY or you need a competent tech. Don't go swapping parts unless you have deep pockets, get a proper diagnosis.
