Well after 6 months of waiting we finally took the leaper for a proper road trip. Las Vegas to San Diego for 3 days and then to Phoenix for 4 and back to Las Vegas. All told 1000 miles and she ran like a top average MPG 29, Cruising 85 to 90 on the freeways with four people and all our junk. I had forgotten how much fun it is to drive a car that is meant to be driven.

Now for my question I noticed that the temp gauge gets to normal really fast, heater is not even blowing hot air at this time. After going no stop from Yuma to Phoenix (200 mi) at 85 MPH and an ambient air temp of 90 degrees the temp gauge never moved and when I shut it down the cooling fan did not come on. Is this normal or should I be concerned?
