The other day I ran into a strange problem with my FM radio. My wife had the radio selected to an AM radio station she listens to. When I tried to get back to FM I got an "FM R" or some such error message. None of my selected stations would work. I fixed it by hitting the A.MEM button. Srangely enough, when I first got the car in 2009 I had a problem with the CD player. It wouldn't recognize the CD. I managed to get around it by hitting the A.MEM button also.

 

While our 2005 Jaguar electronics are far better than they were twenty years ago, they can still be quirky at times. Let's hope you chased your stereo unit gremlins away for good this time....
