Hey guys whats up,
i just became a proud owner of a 2000 s-type, and im in love!!
anyways yes im a noob, but i did search google and checked the forum, and i found nothing on my problem...
one of the fog light burned out, so i checked its an H3 right? so i went to my local parts store, picked up an h3 bulb and installed it, worked fine for a few hours, then i saw the bulb fell out later on in the day, so i thought maybe i didnt put it back on properly, so i took it back off, and the plastic housing where the bulb sits right before the projector lens melted exposing the bulb?!?!
did i do something wrong? its an oem equivilent bulb rated at 12v/55watts, but it seemed to get too hot and damaged the housing?
so far i refixed the housing with hi temp epoxy, but should i be looking for another bulb?
any help would be appriciated!!
thx
