can anyone help with this. i want to upgrade my headlights to the projector type from the type-R and i was going through some threads and seen that they do fit on the 3.0 2001 do anyone know wher to get them from and if yes do will they have just the shroud also

 

I wouldn`t do it. My projectors are a PITA. I have to replace one and it is going to cost me $1000 with me doing all of the work. I wish that I could replace the units with ones that are not Xenons.....

 

you need the whole headlight assembly, and there is some minor wiring to change since the triggers are differant. I have HID assemlies ( the whole headlight)complete for stype and will supply the needed relays and instructions. $650 shipped in upper 48. And I only have a few sets left. So if you really want to do this let me know I have been getting inquiries from others too.

 

you can but why, they suck. and you have to change the wiring caus ethey trigger differantly. see above

 

This is kinda funny, I was looking to go the other way since I need the right Xenon due to the collision.
If you really want to do it I'm sure you could dump your halogens on ebay. They obviously don't bring as much as the Xenons though.
