My 2001 Jaguar S-type fuel pump 15 amp fuse continues to blow and I must replace it in order to get the car going. Based on reading this forum sounds as if I need to replace the fuel pump(S).
Can someone tell me if there is a thread with the instructions on how to replace the fuel pump?

I'm not shy about doing it myself but not sure how to relieve the system of the fuel pressure before starting? Do I just open the gas cap to so this?

Also is it possible that the relay is bad? I've changed the 15 amp fuse about 6 times now but haven't change the relay.

This all started when I let the fuel run low and discovered I had a weak (bad) battery! I have about 105,000 mile on this car and cannot afford another one until my kid graduates medical school!
