Default Fuse box and heated windsheild help

Hey all. So I have a issue my driver side heated windscreen does not work the passenger side works great. Well I think I found the issue. I know my car was Ina small accident before I purchased it and a motor bike hit the passenger side right where the fuse panel is. Well I have been going crazy chasing this issue as I want everything to work lol. Well I took the fuse panel apart and noticed a bunch of wires with heat shrink on them!!! Tell me this isn't factory and I found the issue I'm including a picture for help. But I'm also wondering if maybe this is why my dsc light is on too. There seems to be a good amount of wire not hooked up. I started to think the accident was the issue when I didn't see the fuse or relay for the driver side or any of the metal inside the spots on the fuse box. Let me know what u guys think and I do have the heated windsheild I even have the button. And any help with what theses wire are would be so cool and great help lol incoming pic!!!

Engine fuse panel 2000 stype 4.0

I'm pretty confident it shouldn't look like that.
You can find the wiring diagrams on Gus's site JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource

Ok so found the relay layout. Where do I find d what the wire colors are or can anyone make out what theses letters stand for? Tomorrow I can go to the yard that has a donor car and they only have 1 stype and I've waited a while to even see one in a yard around me there rare. So what I'll do is grab the relay red part that has the pins and then the wire with the blade for the fuse and a relay. The donor does not have the same spec but I just need the red push in for the box.

Ias the lh relay im intrested in hooking up.

Hi. Thank for the reply I'm also working during how I could figure out what all the wires are from the fuse box. I'm seeing more wires then I'll need to hook up my left side windshield heater. Is there a way I can see all the wires and where they go? I also noticed my mirror heaters are not working

Ok so I hit the pull and pay today for my relay parts and to my surprise it is in fact looking the same way as mine with the heat shrink on the wires like that? I wonder why

Page 14 has the Symbols and colour codes, the previous pages are an introduction on how to read the wiring diagram.
Pge 18 has the windshield heater relay dia.
The above electrical diagram should tell you what you need to know.

There is a wiring harness under the Right-side wing, may be since you are in this far an ideal to pop off the RH wheel liner and inspect the harness for damage.

Ok update
working on all the wirring i am not finding the orange 10ga wire that is the lead to the windsheild. It's no where to be found in engine bay area. Now I layer under the driver side and followed it and it's in a thick loom that goes into the middle console area. Where does that enter the engine bay at? If I can't find it bu tomorrow I'm going to run my own 10ga wire. Everything else is in the fuse panel area just not the thick guys. Am I missing something?

So I tried my idea and I hooked up the lh side to make sure it worked and boom windshield got nice and toasty. So it is going to work but I can't find a good spot to go to engine bay from firewall. I want the best may no crappy look. I want it too not even be seen I'm going to splice in under my dash so all connections are good and I have wire protector over my whole wire. But if in the future I can or some one knows where the wire is I need the red yellow then I can go back to factory I'll take a few pics tomorrow it's too late tonight to get this done. Thanks guys any info is awesome!!

Also I'm using all jaguar parts for the relay and fuse and original location in the fuse box so it'll be factory as can be. Just wish I could find that dang wire

I am not sure, if I am missing something here, but isn't the answer to your questions kind of obvious? You have a wire ending up on the windscreen, and you want to know, which wire in the fusebox it is? So the obvious way to find the answer would be to use the continuity setting on a multimeterm connect one end to the windscreen heater wire contact and check with the other end all possible wires: If it "beeps" you found your wire. However, if you are sure that you went thru all the possible wires, and you heard no "beep" then this would suggest that the wire itself is toast (= did burn thru in the past)...

I find it hard to believe they cut and removed the wire from the harness That would involve unwrapping the entire harness and weaving the wire from that harness and then re-wrapping that harness and as somebody experienced with the Jaguar harnesses this is not an easy task and is downright frustrating. If I was going to disconnect the wire from power I would just remove a fuse or a relay. There’s really no reason to remove a wire from a wiring harness. Check that fuse box again. check the schematic again to make sure that you’re looking at the right color wire. I bet you have the wrong colors

I'm telling ya I can't find it I just looked and look and tested every wire for a long time. The wire has to be 10ga so it's easy to see it

While at the yard today I tore apart a harness to see if I could even find the wire in a car there. Well out of the 2 there none have the windscreen with heat in them only wiper park heat. I am guessing maybe it's possible and probably right that my car did not have this from the factory but it doesn't make sense as the cars with the wiper park heat did not have the button like mine does. I'm really lost in this. I wish I knew more about this car. Carfax didn't say anything about wrecks except a motorcycle one. Hmmmm. Well I'm going to continue my wire run and if anyone knows where this red orange 10 ga wire comes in the engine bay let me know. I've read the schematic a million times and it's not saying. I thank you for the help guys.

Panel back in its home position and locked in place

Everything all finished i tapped up the wires to make them a bit fresher looking and keep them close and thight so they can rub together or on anything and Chafee. Looks good and works great

I will be fixing the engine bay up a good bit I have parts off now that will be getting blasted and repainted. Not sure if the black parts will go back to black or maybe a deep grey color still deciding. But I have se painting to do and will take pics and document it along the way.

I have a new fender and deck lid that are in 100 percent perfect condition and im paint and then im going to do my front and rear bumber covers and my hood. Then a full clay bar polish and ceramic coat when I'm all finished.
