Gas smell inside cab. .
After fill up had a strong gas smell inside while driving away . Didn't over fill , stopped when the hose shut off. It's happened a few times before but this time was so bad I'm here for help. Stopped in a mile or so with no smell in trunk or under hood .

Take a look at this recent thread, with details about the tank seals:

It's easy enough to check. Lift up the bottom of the rear seat. There are two latches at the front to release the seat bottom. You will then see two big rubber plugs for the access holes through the body. Pop them off to see the tank underneath. I suspect you will see evidence of a leak at one of the caps on the tank. I also bet you will find at least one of the rubber plugs loose, as normally they keep fumes out of the cabin if the tank is leaking.

If you can determine if the smell radiates back to front or vice versa then karls idea takes care of rear and front would be coming thru fresh air vent where filter is located picking up fumes from underhood. I believe the charcoal cannister is rearward under the car also. If the valve goes wonky it will release fumes to atmosphere. Also if it is getting clogged or used up. It definitely seems tied into a fillup where fumes are purged to make room for liquid
