To me, jaded chiding run up to the real answer was missing. So it seemed.

 

On the other hand, there's probably a few dozen regular posters here who know the answer but choose to remain silent..................

 

I'm afraid to say anything.

 

I was expecting anecdotal evidence of a 'mixture of horse urine and gear oil added 30K miles ago and the gearbox is STILL SHIFTING NORMALLY so don't use the correct fluid' type story from someone, somewhere.
