My shifter won't go into drive on my 2003 Jaguar S type R. Is this a common problem? how much is this going to cost to fix. I tried switching the J shift to try the manual side and nothing works.. It goes into park, reverse, and neutral just fine but when it gets to drive the d doesnt light up and I cant seem to get it in that little drive "pocket." seems almost mechanical rather than electrical. Idk im worried though, I JUST bought this car 2 months ago and it's been great so far. can someone please help me?
