Default Gear box sqeek

Hi i have v6 TD Jag S Type and it has a sqeek on the automatic gear box, i've heard there's some gear box oil you can buy that will sort that out?

Also sometimes it won't come out of Park, i have to press the clutch a few times before the gear stick is able to move?

Any help would be great thanks

If you've got an auto gearbox, why does the car also have a clutch pedal?

The squeak, squawk or hoot sound is usually fixed by using the present iteration of transmission fluid that contains an additive that the original factory fill did not have.

Why you've got to press on the brake pedal more than once might be something to do with the switch.

The ZF LIFEGUARD 6 has the additive. The Jaguar fluid C2C 8432 also has the additive but I suspect it is the same fluid at an inflated price.

All the TSBs from the past when Jaguar discovered the issue are on this forum as well as Gus's site.

And contacted Opie oils, they also recommend this Fuchs Titan ATF 4134 for Mercedes - meets MB 236.14
