Hello,

I just replaced my transmission assembly and it shifts through all of the gears now. After I get it up to speed it acts like it runs out of fluid and stops. I let the car rest and then it will drive again. I have been told that it does that because I used a different TCM without reprogramming it. Has anyone ever heard of this? Would putting my factory TCM fix the issue? Would I need to reprogram the original TCM back to the car or will it match automatically?
