Hello, everyone. Wanted to see if anyone had a tip or some insight into my global open/close problem. Global open is working fine but for some reason global close will only close the sunroof? Does anyone have any idea why?

 

Me too, only global open works, at least your sunroof closes lol global close doesn't work at all on mine

 

That's odd, the global close is a dealer activated option but if the roof works the rest should.
Have you tried resetting the windows?
Roll them down one at a time and hold the button for a few seconds until you hear a click then roll them up and hold the button again until you hear the click then try the global close again.

 

Norri thank you for the tip. Worked like a charm. I was getting so frustrated with it.

 

Mine use to work until I replaced the battery. I reset the windows and the global opens (with the remote and interior global lock button) all windows and sunroof but closes none of them with the remote only with the interior button. But the remote use to close all of them as well before I replaced the battery. Maybe I will have to take it back to the dealer to have them reset it? What do you think?

 

Same for mine. They will open remotely but will not close.

 

for mine if you use the remote only Global open works, but if the key is in the door Global open and close work

 

I have the same problem, global open works with the fob but need to put the key in the door to get it to glowbally close
