got elmscan5 no boost gauge??

Default got elmscan5 no boost gauge??
i got my elnsdcan5 and cant find if there is away to monitor boost pressure, i put a 1.5lb pully on and wanted to see???? what othert cool things can i do with this as there isnt an instruction book

If you want to measure boost, you need to put a boost guage in one of your vacuum lines.

Yeah! I know. I have the scan gauge does not read boost although it will in my son's car saturn redline. Although it reads everything else including IAT.

it reads the opposite it reads vacuum, when the range goes into the positive you will see "boost"

Cannot say for sure on the S type, but the MAP sensor on the XKR will not register much above 5 in Hg positive so is not really useful for boost.
