Default Got a New S-Type to Keep My XK8 Company

2007, 85K Miles in fair to good condition. $4750. Slight headliner damage from moonroof leak, missing one back seatbelt fastener, headlight lenses need replacing, but surprise it has the tow hook! Been on the XK forum for a while but glad to be here also.

Well done.

The fleet is growing, and now there are 2, they WILL multiply.

My initial reply disappeared into virtual land, so I hope this isn't a double post.

Just want to congratulate you Mike on an excellent combo. Am I biased? Of course! But we achieved same outcome in opposite order. Now all you need is a late XJR to fulfill the trio of future stars . . . and a glorious classic like an XJ6 or XJ12 to keep you entertained in the workshop and twitching at night!

Congrats again Mike, and best wishes,

Ken

I just added the same thing to my litter last week, added a 2008 S-Type 4.2 to keep the 2004 XK8 company. Hate to say it but the S-Type is a winter beater for me in the Canadian North.

2008 S type and 2004 XK8. X-Type in the background is being replaced by the S.

The S-Type is my year round car and my wife has her Elantra so I really don't have the space or the income to keep an American beater as well. I am doing the bottom with POR15 and it has always been coated by Rust check so I think that I can protect her from the elements pretty well.
