You are explaining yourself just fine. For some reason JagV8 seems to be taking personally the fact that you aren't happy with the way the STR handles however I do agree with you. It is well known that manufacturers soften up suspensions to suit American tastes and American roads. The STR is stiffer and handles better than a standard S-Type however it is still rather soft especially when compared to an M5 or AMG. It is more musclecar than precise corner carver. To me it drives like a 4 door Mustang Cobra and that suits me just fine.

Also when compared to the Cadillac....
For some time know that has been a down feature in Top Gear and other auto critics, they say the Jaguar's handling is very unpredictable.

but for the way I drive it awesome.

Thanks for understanding
I agree with you that CATS should be right in 90% of the drivers needs
But I like more control and precision
This is why I change the setup of every car I have bought, the day after buying it
DTB you are right, and you never have tested an European AMG
If you compare, the European AMG are like a DTM car (teeth bouncing) , the American AMG are like a European sporty car
For your market OEM setup are always a little softer than here
I drove an SL AMG in Europe and in the States and they are different
The only one that is similar is the ML AMG

I'm not taking it personally at all. However, it would be far better if, instead of bit by bit admitting what you are doing and why you want to do it, you said so straight away, rather than just jumping in with criticisms as generalisations which as stated were untrue. Heck, you even criticised the handling of all STRs based on your one example which then turned out to have a corroded sway bar. Let's start from a known good car, state your own unique goals and make sensible progress. At least we know at last what your specific wishes are.

At the end I eliminated all the possible sources of the problem changing all the worn parts

My suspension actually are "like new" status

But I didn't find the solution,
it's improved a lot from the beginning of this process, but I still get bad feelings on direction changes and accelerating exiting the turn

Could be that I have to open and see how the diff acts

But now I'm facing a new problem...... I hit under the body every garage entrance
I'm thinking to use an "air spring" and a compressor to lift the car when I need

I've seen a similar system on a Porsche
Does somebody have this problem before?
