Headlights don't get juice
2000 S-Type 3.0 V6
I found what color wires to check and took a meter reading at the "supply" side of the hi beam and low beam connectors and found no juice/no voltage.
Then I tried to get a reading at the fuses by sticking a paper clip into the narrow slim shaft holes of the fuse holder at # 23 and #25 passenger compartment fuses for the lights not working.
I understand the ECM (elec control module) plays a part, so does the headlamp switch on the dashboard, some mention a "ballast" which may be part of the bulb assembly, I bought new bulbs but with no current, its useless.
I doubt the headlight switch would be responsible for only half the front light coming on. A DIY guy like me knows nothing about the ECU, I cannot afford a mechanic.
Any insights?
Thank you everyone in advance, I love my S-type :-)

Dear Six Rotors,
Your guidance is much appreciated. If only I could have detected power at the fusebox, I too would have run bypass wiring to my lighting.
I feel now to be at the mercy of my local Jaguar shop as I cannot stand the idea of hooking up any Chinese mongoose system. I am on a computer all day :-(
I will call tomorrow to see how many hours they estimate it could take to find the broken connection...........sad, I wanted to fix it myself :-)
