Default Help! '03 Jaguar S type v6 Cold air intake?

I wanted a fun mini project for my car, so I thought that installing a cold air intake would be pretty fun. (I'm not looking for huge power gains). I found where I need to connect the intake (onto the throttle body), but after that I'm lost. I don't have an intake yet, so can someone please tell me what I should do?

The factory installed cold air intake works just great.

I just wanted one for a different induction noise. I'm fairly new to this and I just want to know if it's possible.

You want more noise or better air flow? (Hint: choose one.)

Buy an STR....

I do like the idea of a better sound, but I'm assuming that the better sound comes with lower performance. I may as well just get my money's worth. Does the STR kit provide a noticeable bump in power? And are there any other Cold air intakes that I should look at?

STR = S-Type R. Different model than the 6 cylinder.

My only advice to you would be, to go on google.
Write in, jaguar s type cold air intake, and press video's,
or look at images to try and help sort out you problem !.
Failing that, if you need to mod, go onto piston heads and ask.
Me, i'd keep it stock for insurance, but would up grade the OE filter
to a K & N performance filter, which replaces the standard one in the box.
Hope this is of some use to you, just remember, any mods from standard
will affect your insurance in the event of an accident buddy, DRIVE SAFE

Save your money and use the paper air filter, which works just fine. There is no dynomometer-proven benefit from any of these 'mods' being discussed.
