Default help with AC

I am working on 2004 S type Jaguar 4.2 engine. The condenser had a hole in it so I replaced it with a new one. I also replaced heater control valve (car was blowing hot air all the time.)

I pulled a vacuuum and it maintained it so no leaks. It took 2 can of 134 then seemed to stop.
I never got a reading on the gauges or hear the compressor clutch engaging, which tells me the compressor not coming on. I have checked the fuses and all good.

Right now I am stumped. Any help would be appreciated. I believe the Climate control module is good becuase I can change the temp of the air vents but never get cold air. One last question where in the world is the Orfice tube. Thanks for any help.

That does not at all prove the module is good. It probably isn't.

It's easy to remove and at least check it visually for burnt PCB traces.

It's a TXV system, no orifice tube present.

I believe the system takes around 800g of R134A. The system may still be short. I think those cans carry 300 - 340g each (go easy it's late)

You can look to see if the compressor clutch is engaged. I would try a 3rd can.
