Having MAJOR problem trying to figure out where this positive/negative (red/blk) plugs into, I own a 2005 S Type and battery is located in trunk. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. If something like this topic has been posted, please direct me to correct link.

 

I take it your attempting to install an aftermarket HID system in your car?

 

That is correct. Person told us we need to connect those wires to the stock harness, which we don't have. We looking today to purchase the missing wire. Wish us luck!

 

What harness ? On my bmw i just trimmed and connected to the existing wires worked fine 2years and counting. I am doing this on my s type this Friday so let me know if u run into some difficulties please. I thought it was just gonna be 2 wires which plug into h7 bulb connected to those 2 wires u have maybe i am wrong.

We took our car to couple installers yesterday and both advised that we needed OEM ballasts. Found some very good deals on used ballasts on eBay.
Let me know how yours turned out!

 

My bad ur model is 2005 so i am nearly positive we have different headlamps. Mine are not xenons or whatever its called that big ball inside headlights lol.
