Hidden features that amazed you

A couple of things that should work but don't:
AVC - I have it set on 5, tried it on 1, but still can not notice any difference when the car slows down in the radio/cd volume.
The turn indicators are suppose to chime if left on too long. I don't think mine have ever done that. Is is a factory/dealer setting of somekind/
The rain-sensing wipers are activated on auto on the righthand (USA) when you select auto and move the stick up one notch. It will not work if you don't move the stick forward a click.
Otherwise, I think all the 'goodies' are working fine here on my 03 S'stype

Here's a feature I'd like to have
My wife and I have very different seat settings. Now I know you can set the seat for automatic exit/entrance repositioning but after that feature broke early on another car I don't like moving all that stuff everytime I get in and out of a car so I have it turned off.
But I would like the ability to select the seating selection via the remote so that I don't have to become a pretzel to get into the car after she drives.
Wives are hard to train ...

Apologies for the thread Resurrection. But thanks to this thread, it turns out MY STR HAS FOLDING SEATS!!!!
I agonised over what hot saloon to buy for so long, and finally settled on an STR despite the fact the seats didn't fold, purely on the cabin ambiance and performance. Thought for some time this was such a shame, as it would be the best all-rounder I'd ever owned if they did fold. Now it turns out they do. Win :-)

With that said, the STR has a large brace running between the C-pillars, which still gets in the way of any meaningful clearance with the seats down...

yup, it wasn't until much later into my STR ownership, that i discovered the rear seats could in fact fold, (the release was well hidden in the trunk and out of the way),

Everyone's requirements are different of course, but I would happily trade a little chassis stiffness at the rear end for the ability to carry the loads I need from time to time, and from what I can tell it's an easily reversible mod. So long as the rear window doesn't end up popping out when I'm gunning it, or something equally daft! Has anyone on here removed the brace and lived to tell the tale?

That's what that means. Mine's been doing that for about a month or so now and I never thought much of it because it's always started up fine and the message is only there for a very brief moment. Thanks!
