Default High pressure power steering line at the pump

I have fresh PS fluid dripping down following a few short seconds run. It does not appear to be from the reservoir.
going to try to get a better view with scope camera this morning.
IF it’s the pressure line or fitting into the pump - should I be able to change this line with the pump remaining in place???
I have an 18mm crowfoot wrench, and a CF line wrench will be delivered tomorrow.

If that is the same power steering line that I am thinking about (it is partially rubber and partially metal pipe (at one end)):
I changed it on my S-Type already.
It should be a quite easy job for you.

For me it was however a feed of genius being able to fix it... - because:
Easy for you, because you do have a LHD in Canada, but I have a RHD (right hand drive) in Australia.
Problem is that I was already back then years ago unable to buy this line for a RHD.
Hence, I bought it in the US - without actually anticipating that the line would be different.
But the geometric layout is different in a LHD and RHD and only when lying under the car and wondering what the new part would not fit, I noticed the problem.
But I was able to carefully bend the pipe to make it fit...

why don't you guys just take the line upto your local hydraulic specialist store (eg: enzed), they will most likely just make you a new one while you wait .....

Follow-up, I made a replacement (this is the reservoir to pump fill line) using 5/8 heater hose.
heat formed the shape and reused the heat shield

Heater hose is NOT compatible with petroleum products.
It will last a while and then turn into a soft, melted mess.
