Need help how do I remove the side view mirror 2005 STR

 

Probably says in the workshop manual - free download from the Stickies.

 

The whole housing? Or just the glass?
Unfortunately, I don't recall the exact procedure, so once you answer the question I won't be much help. Just know the glass pops out separately if that is what is knackered. Foggy because so many years ago, but I believe it is a push-n-slide type operation.

 

i removed my 03 ones a few years ago for window tinting . i cant imagine the 05 being any different .
once you remove the inner plastic trim from the door , its self explanatory and not unlike every other car ive ever removed the wing mirrors from .
three bolts and one harness plug .
the steel clips for the inner trim are a crap design and will fight you .and some may fall in side the door frame . so beware .
