Can someone tell me how to change the lens on Jaguar S-type headlight? I broke one,bought one that has darker lens then my old one!!! Pics would be great...or instructions???

do you have the entire assembly or the lens only?, if the lens you pop in the oven for 10 minutes at lowest setting to heat and soften then urethane bond to separate. or are you wanting to know how to remove the bumper to remove the assembly???

 

Yes the lens!!! Can you show me some pics? I would realy appreciate it! On what temperature? Could it be done with industrial fan...for plastic?

 

I want to change the lens inside S-type headlamp...see some! So I want to change only the back side of the headlamp...the black plastic on the rear side of the headlamp?! That broke...front impact,back crack!!! Crazy!!! So owen? 50 degrees!? For 10min!? And then what? Just pull out the back part or the front never mind and do the same with the other good lamp!? Then,,,how to put it back,when I finish the job???

 

Same way, heat it up and squeeze it back on. I used a hair dryer on mine or you could use a heat gun. I didn't even try to remove the bonding glue I just left it on and pressed it together snapping the clips on one at a time.
