Just curious, anyone know how many STRs were built in 2006 for the US market? Thanks!

 

The info below comes from the UK Jaguar Forum:

1999 - 2001 3 were produced
2002 - 520 were produced
2003 - 205 were produced
2004 - 107 were produced
2005 - 163 were produced
2006 - 147 were produced
2007 - 129 were produced

 

But it may just be the number for the UK
Or for Europe
Or for the USA
Or.... well, you guess!

We don't know and the numbers that have come out are not defined. I have also heard that a total of around 1500 STR were built. This seems low?? The total from the list below is only 1274??

I have read that number is correct and worldwide.. seems insane but Jag never really produced a lot of R's especially in XJ's or S Type's

 

wow I knew they where low....but damn.....there are more Enzo's than STR's!

 

that list goes to 07 I think they were made until 09

 

I read STR's went up to 2008 but I have yet to see one.

 

Yes 2008 was the last year for the S Type. Can't say I have ever seen a 2008 STR?

Would anyone be able to tell me how many of these were built in white? (of course a a buddy had to ask ...)

 

A further post on the .co.uk forum clarifies that the figures posted so far are for the UK only.

I have seen no figures for any other parts of the world.

No idea how those UK figures are broken down by colour, but it's irrelevant if you're interested in USA figures.

 

Due to low production volumne, perhaps one day our STR's will be worth something to collectors?
