a branch fell right on my passenger mirror and I am trying to replace it, I bought another mirror from salvage yard but the back cover is a different color, is it possible to remove just the back cover so I swap it with mine? my cover looks good, I dont want to spend money on painting if I dont have to....let me know if any of you guys done this before....thanks!!

 

i have a 2005 s type n i installed chrome mirror caps just run a slim flat screwdriver at the joint n they pop right out

 

Cool, I will try that. I was afraid I had to mess with the screws I saw on the inside behind the mirror,they look like a pain to get to. Thanks!!
