Thumbs up How to replace rear bumper trim on 02' S Type

I recently purchased an 02' S type with super low miles but a few minor exterior problems. I need to purchase and replace the rear bumper trim (both sides) and am wondering how. Does anyone know the cheapest route or website to purchase bumper trim and/or how to install it once purchased?

Thanks in advance!

I just replaced the driver's side rear chrome blade on my '03 (the chrome finish was flaking). I ordered mine from Niello Jaguar in Sacramento for around $100. Installation is easy, as it just snaps in. Removal is easy too, as long as you look at the new piece and carefully pry the old piece out where the clips hold it in. It's really a ten min job, but take your time so that you don't scratch the paint. I have a great set of trim tools from Griot's Garage that came in handy during this repair, but two flat blade screwdrivers wrapped in a rag should do the trick too.

<Whomp>

I'm about to do this meself - my front chrome inserts are a bit scuffed now from sheer mileage, especially the left-hand one. I bought this Sealey trim-tool set a couple of years ago when I had to remove the instrument binnacle from Mrs. Goose's Citroen - don't ask!

I got new inserts, as well as the little reflectors just behind them, from British Parts last week and I'll change the whole lot out. Wish me luck!

Hmm. I've had little success with this. I can't see how to free those little clips behind the trims without dropping out the actual bumper, so this I will do shortly, unless anyone can fill me in on some little tricks I may be missing?

I got that exact same set of nylon pry tools at Harbor Freight for $6. They really help prevent marking the paint up.

Done! I can confirm that the General's nose is now both pimpin' and blingin'. In a very tasteful way, of course. ;o)
