I am new to jaguar, but when you take the key out of the ignition, the seat moves back. Is there anyway to turn that off? Thanks for any help. I'm sure it is simple, but I can't find it in the manual.

Now I see how it works. That seat moving drives me nuts and this fixes that.

 

Wait! What? This is a feature? Gee, thanks for letting me know about one more thing that's broken on my S-Type... David, if you'd like a 03 S-Type that doesn't have that... annoying... feature... hit me up, I'm planning to sell mine cheap

 

It was an option.

 

I was messing around with the steering wheel adjustment and seat position recently and lost the auto movement in the seat when getting out and I couldn't figure out how to get it back so much appreciative of the solution pdf. The only time that feature is not appreciated is when there is someone in the back seat loosing space but for me that is rare.

 

I've only had this one a week or so. Thanks for the fine offer. lol
